03
Mold Application
Students will use their molds to create at least 5 reproductions of their dishware, and then use ceramic techniques to make them differ in some way from each other.
02
Mold Making
Students will use one of the presented methods to create a mold that they will use to make dishware.
04
Glazing/Finishing
Students will use different ceramic finishing techniques to finish their ceramic dishware, making sure that each one has a different end outcome.
Students will pick 3 of their 5 dishes to present in a gallery walk, and then participate in a critique activity that has them ask their peers questions. They will then submit a small informal reflection about their mold making process.

Pedagogy Theory
I connected my lessons throughout this class to different Pedagogical theories. I mainly used project based learning when it came to my lesson planning. I thought about the big idea/main concept and then built my lessons backwards from there. For the u-high workshop we thought about how to connect the students culture to their projects, for the NPL workshop we thought about how to connect the ideas of the Dada movement to modern political issues, and then for the Ceramic unit I thought about how students could make easily replicable dishware (hence mold making). After the big idea was established, then the lessons all built off of them, and at the end the students/artists were expected to show their work in a gallery walk format!
